Ferr phos is used for immediate relief from pain and is especially useful in sinus disorders and excess mucus. It is known as the oxygen carrier and it is found in abundance in red blood cells. The more oxygen the cells receive, the more nutrients they can burn and the more energy they can release. It gives strength and toughness to the circular walls of blood vessels, especially the arteries. Kali mur is useful in the second stage of inflammation, for cases of mucus congestion, glandular swellings, coughs, tonsillitis, digestive disturbances and swollen joints. Kali phos is useful for nervous tension leading to anxiety, irritability and changeable moods, tension headaches, asthma, depression, lethargy and forgetfulness. Kali sulph is used in cases of the third stage of inflammation, which can present themselves as dry scaly skin, dandruff, skin eruptions, shifting pains, hot flushes and chilliness.
